Job Summary :
The Instructor of Driver’s Education Program is a part-time, non-benefitted, position that teaches non-credit classes offered to the LCCC service area community members.
The Driver’s Education Program Driver works directly with students to instruct them in the driving portion of the Driver’s Education class.
It is the responsibility of the Driver to ensure students receive the required instruction set forth for Driver’s Education by the Wyoming Department of Education.
The driver will work with enrolled students to assist them in becoming proficient drivers and ensure each student has completed the required driving and observation hours.
Progress of each student is reported to the Driver’s Education Instructor / Coordinator. This non-credit course is offered to our community members from across the LCCC service area.
Compensation : $30 per hour.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, an employee must be able to maintain appropriate composure and necessary confidentiality with regard to both past and current employee, student, and donor data;

The ability to comply with highly inflexible deadlines is required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position;
there will be multiple occurrences of sudden, urgent task completion required.

Completion a defensive driving training course, has a background in transportation, law enforcement, of traffic education.
If you are selected for the position, your appointment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check. LCCC reserves the right to end this employment agreement should the results of your background investigation not be successful.
